Local delivery rates, better validation, and new notification controls

This release includes three improvements aimed at making manual sends easier to manage and more reliable—especially for stores that offer local delivery and teams that need clearer control over who gets notified.

Local delivery rates in manual sends (Zapiet + Bird)

Manual sends now support local delivery rates via Zapiet or Bird integrations. Similar to how local delivery works in multi-recipient checkout, you can choose Shipping or Local delivery per recipient (or apply the choice in batches). When available, you can also set delivery date and time per recipient.

Notification settings added to the Users table

For plans that include Users & Permissions, the Users page now includes notification settings, so you can choose which users receive general app notifications and alerts.

A couple notes on how Users & Permissions work:

• New users are automatically added to the Users page when a Shopify admin user visits the app.

• Default roles can be set (Staff, Manager, Admin), with Admins able to manage all settings and users; Managers can help manage operational workflows like assigning users to inquiries or manual sends.

Tighter customer email validation (fewer order generation errors)

Shopify validates the customer email when generating orders. To reduce last-minute failures, Send To Many now pre-validates the customer’s email address when:

• a customer is added to a send, or

• the send’s contact email is updated
