A corporate buyer with a hundred names and a December deadline shops differently than anyone else on your site. They want to know, in the first 30 seconds of their visit, whether your store can take their list, put a logo on the box, and get everything out on time. If the answer is a "Contact us" form, they may well move on to a store that answers the question with a more resounding Yes!

Éclat Chocolate, a West Chester, Pennsylvania chocolatier (Bon Appétit once called it the best chocolate in America), says yes on the page. Its corporate gifts page sits one click from the main menu, and a buyer can build the whole order, upload a list, or hand it to a concierge without emailing anyone first. Here is the gifting journey Éclat built for that buyer, and what to check against your own site.

Corporate Gifts is in the main nav

Corporate buyers may pick a vendor weeks before they order. Éclat lists "Corporate Gifts" as a top-level nav item and repeats the link under Gift Ideas and Customer Care, so the "can this store handle my list" question gets answered from any page.

Everything else on the page depends on the buyer getting there, which is why this is the first thing to check on your own site. Burying your only corporate gifting link in the footer is like putting that department in the basement.

The gifter is paying for the recipient's experience

The top of the page shows ribbon colors matched to the buyer's brand, personalized sleeves with a logo, and branded vellum "so they know exactly who was thinking of them." The product grid comes after.

That order is right for food gifting. Simon Paquin at Félix & Norton put it plainly: in gifting, the packaging is the product. What the gifter is buying is the moment the recipient opens the package: the ribbon in their company's color, the sleeve with their logo, the note that says who sent it. Éclat's page sells that moment first and the chocolate second.

Éclat knows budget is the first question

Éclat shows the discount tiers before the builder loads: 5% off orders of $500 to $1,500, 10% off $1,501 to $3,000, and 15% off orders over $3,000. A one-line note says discounts apply to product only and regular shipping applies.

Putting this ahead of the builder tells the buyer that Éclat understands how this purchase works. Someone has a number approved, and they need to know what it buys before they spend an hour building a list. A buyer with $2,000 signed off can see they land in the 10% tier before adding a single recipient, and the running total in the builder shows how far they are from 15%. That is also what turns a 40-person order into a 45-person order.

Any way you want to order, Éclat can handle it

Corporate buyers arrive with different amounts of time and different levels of trust. One wants to build the order at 10pm and be done with it. Another has a spreadsheet from HR and wants to hand it off. A third is spending five figures and wants a person on the other end before committing.

Éclat's page takes all of them. The "Build Your Corporate Gift" button appears twice and opens a builder where the buyer adds recipients, picks a gift per recipient, attaches add-ons, and checks out once. For long lists there's an "Upload recipients" option, so a 50-person order comes in as one spreadsheet instead of 50 rounds of typing. And for the buyer who would rather hand it off, a "personal chocolate concierge" path opens a short Gift Order Inquiry form: name, email, company, date needed, logo, and a recipient list upload. That's enough for the sales team to build a proposal without the buyer filling out a dozen fields.

All three paths sit on the same page, and the buyer can move between them. Someone who starts in the builder and gets nervous at $8,000 can switch to the inquiry form without starting over. The message the page sends is that Éclat will take the order however the buyer wants to place it.

Managing recipients is simple, and every detail is editable

Each recipient row has first name, last name, address, email, and a special-instructions field for things like allergies. Buyers can duplicate a recipient to reuse shared details or upload the full list at once. Add-ons like vellum, ribbon, and sleeves can be applied to one recipient or to all of them.

Picking a gift is a single modal: search the catalog, choose a product, and it's assigned to that recipient. Sold-out items are marked so nobody selects something that can't ship.

The result is that a buyer with 60 recipients can see all 60 on one screen, change the gift for one person, fix an address for another, and add an allergy note for a third without leaving the page or starting over. The order summary stays beside the builder the whole time. Subtotal, tax, shipping, and total update as the buyer works, and a required "Requested shipping date" field sits directly above the checkout button. By the time the buyer clicks pay, there is nothing they haven't already seen.

Return gifters get a faster lane

Buyers can log in to use saved addresses or continue as guest. A returning buyer who reloads last year's list is done in a few minutes, which matters because the same person tends to order every Thanksgiving and every year-end.

The FAQ answers whatever is left

The FAQ is grouped by who is asking. Branding questions for the buyer who cares about presentation. Bulk upload and "different gifts to different people" for the buyer with a long, varied list. Proofs, lead times, and address errors for the operations person. It also covers international orders (by phone), purchase orders and ACH for corporate accounts, and the return policy on perishables. A buyer who has read it has no reason left to email before ordering.

What to check on your own site

Open your store as a corporate buyer and time how long it takes to learn you can handle a 100-recipient order. If it's more than a few seconds, or the answer is "email us," that's the first fix.

Everything on Éclat's page adds up to a gifting journey. The buyer finds the path, sees what the recipient will get, knows what their budget buys, picks how they want to order, manages their list, gets their questions answered, and comes back next year with the list already saved. Walk your own page as that buyer and check each of those stages. Where one is missing, that's where the buyer drops off.

Send To Many helps you deliver an amazing gifting journey to your gifting customers, whether they're sending to 2 or 2,000 recipients. With multi-recipient checkout and spreadsheet upload handled inside Shopify, you can focus on the rest of the experience: the packaging, the pricing, and the page that tells buyers you want their order.
